Beginner II Classes
Our six-week sessions are designed to give the continuing beginner student a solid background of more advanced glassblowing techniques. Students will learn to work together and create their own glass artwork. Concentration will be placed on refining skills such as: shaping glass, forming punty’s, adding bit work and more advanced color applications. Hot shop safety, etiquette and proper form are all stressed throughout each lesson.
Class sizes are limited to 6 students to provide an intimate studio environment and maximize learning potential. A small class size ensures each person receives quality instruction and ample access to tools, equipment and materials.
Beginner II tuition includes the use of basic tools and materials. Glass color and specialty tools must be purchased separately. Please consider purchasing your glass materials from our in-house supply shop, Hot Glass Color. A $300 deposit is required to confirm registration.
Students can enroll for courses in person or by calling the studio at (206) 448-2181. Tentative holds may be placed via e-mail. Please send email requests to: firstname.lastname@example.org
