Cliff Goodman

Owner and Founding Artist

Cliff Goodman began his journey as a glass artist in 1976. He trained under master glassblower Fritz Driesbach and attended the Pilchuck school. He relocated to Seattle from New York to become a part of the emerging glass art scene and to enjoy the surrounding landscape of the Pacific Northwest. His passion for the beauty of the natural world is reflected in the wide range of organic forms and patterns in his work. 

In 1991, Goodman founded the Seattle Glassblowing Studio, a place dedicated to fostering creativity in glass. He has influenced, inspired and trained many artists throughout his career. Today, Cliff Goodman leads a team of professional artists who work together to design high quality, one-of-a kind glass art pieces.

Our art gallery offers handcrafted glass art, gifts and jewelry with a focus on Northwest makers. We proudly showcase artwork from over 100 independent artists, as well as pieces made in-house. Add to your collection, or commission an original work of art. 

The gallery opens to our working Hot Shop.

Our Hot Shop

See artists in action in our hot shop, creating art glass in many forms. The Hot Shop is open to the public during regular gallery hours. Special events with guest artists happen throughout the year and we offer hands-on experiences for groups and individuals.
